LES BRICS +. - THE BRICS +

Il n'est pas dans mon habitude de faire de la publicité pour les chaines de télévision dont je trouve trop souvent les programmes désolants, mais cette semaine j'ai regardé, avec beaucoup d'intérêt, un documentaire de ARTE ¹ consacré aux BRICS +.

J'avais, comme nous tous, entendu parler des BRICS, mais j'étais loin de m'imaginer la puissance du groupe et les capacités mises en œuvre pour concurrencer, dominer voire éliminer, la sphère occidentale. 

J'ai la mauvaise impression que cette association est bien gênante pour nos gouvernants et comme dit une humoriste bien connue : « On ne nous dit pas tout ! »

Le but principal des BRICS + est de concurrencer le G7 et au delà de mettre fin à l’hégémonie du dollar comme monnaie mondiale. ²

Les BRICS qui, à l'origine en 2009, groupaient, le Brésil, la Russie, l'Inde, la Chine et l'Afrique du sud est rejoint maintenant par l'Iran, l'Egypte, les Emirats Arabes Unis, l'Indonésie et l'Ethiopie - ce qui explique le signe +. 

Le Mexique, la Corée du Sud et la Turquie (membre de l'OTAN ???) frappe à la porte du groupe.

Les dix pays composant les BRICS + représentent près de la moitié de la population mondiale et 35 % du PIB mondial contre 44 % pour les pays du G7. 

En 2014, lors de leur 6^ème sommet à Fortaleza au Brésil, ils ont décidé la création de la « Nouvelle Banque de Développement », basée à Shanghai, au capital de 100 milliards de dollars et présidée par la brésilienne Dilma Rousseff. Ils utilisent déjà le yuan, monnaie chinoise, pour leurs échanges commerciaux et travaillent pour créer une monnaie commune au groupe pour justement entraîner une chute du Dollar. La banque peut accorder jusqu'à 350 milliards de prêts pour financer des projets d'infrastructures, de santé, d'éducation, etc.

C'est à la suite de la chute de l'URSS et des bombardements de l'OTAN de 1999 sur la Serbie, sans accord de l'ONU, que Evgueni Primakov, Premier ministre de la fédération de Russie, a théorisé la formation d'un groupe restreint, la Russie, l'Inde et la Chine destiné à neutraliser la domination occidentale.

Les 12 et 13 septembre 2026 à New Dehli a eu lieu le 18^ème sommet de l'organisation.

Les BRICS + plaident pour une refondation des organisations internationales (ONU, FMI, Banque mondiale) où ils seraient représentés selon le principe « un pays, une voix » et pour renforcer leur poids économique (OMC, FMI). Mais leur objectif principal est de sortir de la dépendance du dollar qu'il considère comme un instrument hégémonique.

Ils affirment que la domination et l'exploitation, depuis 500 ans sans contrepartie, du monde par l'Occident sont obsolètes et ils remettent en cause l'universalité des droits fondamentaux issus de la DUDH de 1948 considérant que le premier des droits de l'Homme est le « droit à la prospérité ». 

C'est une conception réductrice des droits humains orientée, principalement, vers les conditions matérielles – nourriture, logement, santé – et les devoirs envers la collectivité mais opposée aux libertés individuelles, comme la liberté d'expression, par exemple.

D'un côté, nous avons Donald qui veut nous manger, et de l'autre, les BRICS + qui pensent en faire autant !!!

THE BRICS +

It's not my habit to advertise television channels whose programs I too often find dreadful, but this week I watched, with great interest, a documentary on ARTE.³dedicated to BRICS +.

Like all of us, I had heard of BRICS, but I was far from imagining the power of the group and the capabilities deployed to compete, dominate, or even eliminate,the western sphere.

I have a bad feeling that this association is quite embarrassing for our leaders, and as a well-known comedian said:"They're not telling us everything!"

The main goal of BRICS+ is to compete with the G7 and beyond to end the hegemony of the dollar as the world currency.⁴

The BRICS, which originally in 2009 grouped together Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, is now joined by Iran, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia and Ethiopia - which explains the + sign.

THEMexico, theSouth Korea and theTürkiye (a NATO member???) is knocking on the group's door.

The ten BRICS+ countries represent almost half of theworld populationand 35% of global GDP compared to 44% for the countries ofG7.

In 2014, during their 6^thAt the summit in Fortaleza, Brazil, they decided to create the "New Development Bank", based inShanghai, with a capital of 100 billion dollars and chaired by the Brazilian Dilma Rousseff.They already use the yuan, the Chinese currency, for their trade and are working to create a common currency for the group precisely to bring about a fall in the value of the dollar. The bankcan grant up to 350 billion in loans to finance infrastructure, health, and education projects, etc.

It was following the fall of the USSR and the 1999 NATO bombings of Serbia, without UN agreement, that Yevgeny Primakov, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, theorized the formation of a small group, Russia, India and China, intended to neutralize Western domination.

The 18th event took place on September 12th and 13th, 2026 in New Delhi.^thtop of the organization.

The BRICS+ advocate for a reform of international organizations (UN, IMF, World Bank) where they would be represented according to the principle of "one country, one vote," and for strengthening their economic influence (WTO, IMF). But their main objective is to break free from dependence on the dollar, which they consider a hegemonic instrument.

They assert that the West's 500-year domination and exploitation of the world without reciprocation is obsolete, and they question the universality of fundamental rights stemming from the 1948 UDHR, considering the first of human rights to be the"The right to prosperity."

This is a reductive conception of human rights oriented, primarily towards material conditions – food, housing, health – and duties towards the community but opposed to individual freedoms, such as freedom of expression, for example.

On one side, we have Donald who wants to eat us, and on the other, the BRICS+who think they can do the same!!!

Let's try not to be edible.
